1954 Born in Cologne, Germany
1968 Began to photograph
1975 - 1983 Interest and involvement in amateur movie-making
1984 Return to still-photography
1990 Move to Auckland, New Zealand
1992 Move to Wellington, New Zealand
Joined New Zealand Centre for Photography (NZCP)
1995 - 1997 Correspondence course from New York Institute for Photography
1997 Built a wooden 4x5 view camera
Created NZCP web site
1998 Participant in the inaugural Wellington fotofest ´98
Participant in the Charles Weber workshop Landscape and Flash
2000 Illustrated talks in Geneva and Bienne (Biel), Switzerland,
on the occasion of Photo Lightscapes, a group exhibition, sponsored by Pro Helvetia Arts Council of Switzerland.
2002 Responsible for the New Zealand exhibition of The Coaster Project, Destination: The World, a group project organized by TransCultural Exchange
