Biography

1987 - 1988 Certificate in Craft Design, Whitirea Polytechnic, Porirua. (NZ)
1989 Started pottery as full time occupation and attended as many workshops by other potters as possible.
1991 - 1995 Lived and worked in Tokyo, Japan
1993/1994 Participated in 1st and 2nd Takayama Ceramic Workshop, a cooperative venture of the Japan, NZ and Australia Friendship Society.
1994 Invited to attend a week long traditional paper making workshop in Mino.
1995 Returned to Wellington, New Zealand
Worked at "Winspear´s" and joined "The Potters Shop" co-op.
1996 Working from home.
Foundation member ":Bakehouse Gallery" co-op.
2000 - 2004 Diploma of Arts (Ceramics) from ANU, Canberra (distance mode).

1987 - 1991 Wellington:
Craft Design Students/Graduates Exhibitions, "Muddy Waters Revisited", Kapiti Arts Festival, Wellington Potters Association and Woolshed Potters Annual Exhibitions.
1993 - 1995 Japan:
Solo: TAC Genkan Gallery, Gallery M, H.A.Deux, Yuyujin, (Tokyo)
Group shows: Takayama Municipal Hall, CWAJ Ceramics Group Exhibition (Tokyo), 4 women show, Gallery "Arishu" (Yokohama), joint exhibition with Kato Enzan, Genbu Gallery (Tokyo).
1996 - 2004 New Zealand:
Occasional: Hutt Art Society, Norsewear Art Awards (Waipukerau), Royal Easter Show (Auckland), MMC Awards (Whakatane), Ballantynes´ Tableware Exhibition (Christchurch).
Regular contributor to NZSP National, Academy of Fine Arts, Art Encompassing. Wellington Potters´ Association and Woolshed Potters exhibitions.
